Alkali poisoning of Fe-Cu-ZSM-5 catalyst for the selective catalytic reduction of NO with NH3

چکیده
Fe (2 wt%)-Cu (1.5 wt%)-ZSM-5 SCR catalyst contacted 1.5 wt% of Na and 1.8 K in order to simulate poisoning by species more specifically contained exhaust gases from diesel engines power plants. Poisoning agents do not cause loss surface area nor pore occlusion. XRD SEM results showed that alkali metals introduction did deteriorate the crystallinity morphology zeolite crystals. However, a significant acidity was observed upon alkali-poisoned catalysts causing dramatic deactivation NH3-SCR NO reaction. Na-doped higher low-temperature activity, while potassium has stronger effect on Fe-Cu-ZSM-5 than sodium beyond 400 °C.

Iron-doped Mn-Ce/TiO2 catalyst for low temperature selective catalytic reduction of NO with NH3.
The catalysts of iron-doped Mn-Ce/TiO2 (Fe-Mn-Ce/TiO2) prepared by sol-gel method were investigated for low temperature selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NO with NH3. It was found that the NO conversion over Fe-Mn-Ce/TiO2 was obviously improved after iron doping compared with that over Mn-Ce/TiO2. Fe-Mn-Ce/TiO2 with the molar ratio of Fe/Ti = 0.1 exhibited the highest activity. The results...

In the current study, reduction of nitrogen oxide from exhaust gas in the presence of NH3 as reductant on selective catalytic reductant (SCR) impregnated catalytic converter was simulated using Comsol© software. Mass transfer (one-dimensional) and heat transfer (three-dimensional) governing equations were taken into account to model the unsteady state behavior of the catalytic converter. Modeli...

متن کاملLow-temperature SCR of NO with NH3 over noble metal promoted Fe-ZSM-5 catalysts
We have reported previously the excellent performance of Fe-exchanged ZSM-5 for selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NO with ammonia at high temperatures (300–400 C). In this work, we found that the reaction temperature could be decreased to 200– 300 C when a small amount of noble metal (Pt, Rh, or Pd) was added to the Fe-ZSM-5. The SCR activity follows the order Pt/FeZSM-5 > Rh/Fe-ZSM-5 > Pd...
